Attic Insulation in Las Vegas
One concern of Las Vegas homeowners is the heat loss or gain from an attic space that is under insulated. An under insulated attic will result in rooms that may be hotter than others in the summer and colder than others in the winter. If this is your home you are most likely paying way too much for your monthly utilities.
R-Value Information
Insulation is specified by its thermal resistance or R-Value. “R” means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-Value, the greater the insulation power. If your home is below the “R” Value standards that are recommended by the U.S. Dept. of Energy, you are most likely paying way too much for your monthly utilities.
Product Data
Premium loose-fill fiberglass insulation should always be considered when insulating a new attic or retrofitting an existing one. We use only the finest when it comes to loose-fill blown insulation. It has a class A fire rating (it will not burn), it is non-corrosive, pest-resistant, no Formaldehyde and it is user friendly. It carries the seal of Energy Star, The U.S. Green Building Council and is certified by Greenguard Indoor Air Quality. If your home’s attic is below the “R” Value standards that are recommended by the U.S. Dept. of Energy, it is highly recommended that you schedule an appointment and have one of our insulation specialists come visit with you, evaluate your attic and see how we can make you more comfortable and your monthly utilities more affordable.
